Chamber of Commerce of the Czech-Korean Society (in Korean „체코-코리아협회 상공회의소“) is a Czech-Korean chamber of commerce which connects Czech and Korean companies and institutions and its activities support the development of the business and economic relations between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Korea.
The Chamber of Commerce provides information and consultancy regarding the business activities in the Czech Republic or the Republic of Korea to its members but also to its non-members. The Chamber also mediates an establishment of new business relations between Czech and Korean companies and organizes educational and social events concerning the topic of Czech-Korean business relations, particularly the topics of sales or purchase opportunities, or the investment in both countries.
The Chamber of Commerce is an independent non-governmental organization (company registration number 046 35 574) affiliated with the Czech-Korean Society (section 228 of the civil code). The Chamber is led by president, vice-president and a board. The membership in the Chamber of Commerce can be acquired by the Czech, Korean or foreign personnel or legal entities.
The Chamber of Commerce was founded in cooperation with strong partners, namely for example the company Gold of Prague which is the first Czech investor in Korea. The Prague subsidiary of the Clifford Chance which is one of the most significant international law offices and one that operates in Korea for over 30 years is also one of the partners. Next, Asia Innovation Forum which is an educational platform aimed at supporting the business cooperation of countries of the Visegrad Group and Eastern Asia, is also a founding member.
