King Sejong Institute Prague was founded at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University in Prague in autumn 2013 and consequently joined the group of 113 institutions of the same name located all around the world. King Sejong Institute is named after king Sejong the Great who contributed to the creation of the original Korean system of writing and so to spread of literacy and education in the whole country. King Sejong Institute Prague offers high-quality education of Korean language at many levels and also lectures about Korean culture.
